Curiosities on 3200 West

One of our favorite things to do is explore neighborhoods. We have noticed a place just west of Bangeter Highway that looks like a house with a mobile home perched on top. We decided to take a look see and found an interesting neck of the woods to say the least. There was an abundance of lawn "art" and some places that hearkened back to my youth at Ward's Trailer Park, lot #17.

On our way home we meandered a bit to the east and pointed out lots of cows and horses for the kids to see. I had just said, "Cow, cow, Jack, see the cow," when I caught an unexpected member of the animal kingdom out of the corner of my eye. "Camel, kids, look at the camel!" Sure enough, a small herd of about 6 camels were clustered in the back yard/pasture of a house right on 3200 West, just north of 90th South.

On the same road, not to be outdone, a large heard of domesticated elk live just a ways down the road on the South East corner of 114th South. Who needs Yellowstone?

That's too funny!!??! What are people thinking? I say toe-may-toe, you say toe-mah-toe? Maybe we need to borrow the cameras and come and do an on-site shoot about the wildlife in Utah suburbs...hmmmm...
